If Smart Bait suffers structural damage caused directly by fish attacks under normal use conditions, this is covered under our warranty.

All electronic-related issues are fully covered under warranty, including but not limited to:

If any of the above issues occur within the warranty period, we will provide free repair or replacement, depending on the situation.

Using an anti-bite steel leader is mandatory only in waters where sharp-toothed predators are present, such as:

• Barracuda
• Sharks
• Spanish mackerel
• Snakehead

In other fishing scenarios, you may directly connect Smart Bait using mono or braid.
This often helps reduce fish alertness and increase strike rates.

If you choose to use your own steel leader, we recommend the following minimum specifications:

• Smart Bait Air / Mini: ≥ 30 kg (approx. 0.8 mm)
• Smart Bait Pro / Pro X: ≥ 50 kg (approx. 1.2 mm)
